35mm Color Negative Film


For over 100 years, negative film was the reigning process used in film photography. Negative film was initially used for black and white photography before the invention of color negative film in the late 1930s. Revolutionizing photography forever, photographers were able to capture natural colors for the first time ever.

Color negative film, as its name would suggest, captures images and displays them on the film in complete reverse. Both colors and light values appear reversed, with light areas appearing dark and dark areas appearing light. Likewise, colors on the film are switched to their exact opposite.
